Teenage Girls are Trouble

By admin

If you are the parent of teenage girls, or girls who will soon become teenagers, you have my sympathy. Unless they have their heart set on becoming nuns, you are going to have your hands full. Even if you think you are doing a good job as a parent and have perfect little princess teenage girls, you can never really be sure. They are not about to tell you all about their developing hormones and what goes on in their social circles. It’s a safe bet that they have a certain part of their lives and thinking which they would just die if their parents ever found out about.

After all you were the same way when you were a teenager, regardless of your gender. Your kids are going to be no different. No matter how much you tighten the reigns they will find ways to act out as irresponsible teenagers (who think they should be able to make the same decisions that adults get to). The only difference between them and adults is the system society has bounded them by, in their view. And they will take every opportunity presented to them, no matter how brief, to break those bonds and express their independence.

Papa Riah is fortunate enough never to have been the parent of a teenage girl. I inherited a step-daughter who was well past that stage when I got involved in the deal. However Mama Riah tells me all the time of her efforts in that era. Basically she was the most strict parent in the world when it came to letting her daughter out of her site, but the most generous when she had control of exactly what she was doing. Because her daughter was very popular in high school, her garage became the hangout for her click. All her friends used to tease her when the street lights came on as that was when she usually had to be home.

Does that sound like a little too much? Well this girl so respects her upbringing that she constantly affirms to her mom that she will be raising her own children the same exact way. And she is the most well-adjusted person I have ever met, in spite of coming from a broken family.

It all starts well before the teenage years of course. If you are letting your 5-year old run your household, it’s a pretty safe bet that you will have major problems with them as a teenager. Have you seen Willy Wonka and the Chocolate Factory? Remember the spoiled brat little girl? Now how do you think she would have been as a teenager? You can expect some phone calls from the police during the teenage years if you are going to allow your little girl to act like that at a young age.

Looking around when you are out in public, you will no doubt notice that teenage girls who are unescorted by parents seem to be magnets for trouble. Especially ones who are apparently aware of their recent transformation into the adult-looking female form. They are throwing it out there as bait in the water, just to see how many different species of fish are interested in it – completely unaware or unconcerned of the dangers associated with this behavior. They are discovering themselves in a way that puts their very lives in danger, and flat-out don’t care.

Much too often in our society does an adult male well into his twenties find himself approached and tempted by a teenage girl who is 16 or 17 years of age. This is a dangerous situation for the guy, the girl, and the parents of the girl. But it’s something that happens all the time out there and the parents of the girl have no idea what’s going on. This is trouble. And this trouble is started by the promiscuous teenage girl, not the happy-go-lucky guy who becomes ensnared in the trap.

I’m sure you have noticed that anytime you drive by a teenage girl who is less than moderately dressed and you happen to innocently glance in her direction, she is always looking back at you. Now how can that be? It can only be because these girls are looking through the windshield at the driver of every car that drives by. If you happen to be a male less than retirement age, their gaze will stay with you longer than just a quick glance. Why? Because teenage girls are trouble. Real trouble. Good luck with your daughters, America.

Issues of Entitlement

Are you a generally happy person? Thankful for all your blessings and appreciative of the good things you get to experience in life? Or are you an often-angry person, mad that others have more than you and not happy about the way the world works? If it’s the latter, I have a question for you: Just who the heck do you think you are? Why is it you think you deserve anything? The truth is you are darn lucky to have what you have, and that you aren’t starving in some third-world country somewhere.

The attitude that others shouldn’t have more than you, that it’s just not fair, is usually held by those who are not willing to do the work that those who have more do in order to get it. Welfare recipients think their welfare checks should be high enough that they get to drive an SUV and vacation in Europe too, just like their neighbor the workaholic who started a successful business in his spare time. What they don’t seem to understand is that the neighbor who busts his butt to get slightly ahead in life is also busting his butt to pay for that welfare check of his lazy neighbor.

It doesn’t matter to them. They hold a different world view than rational thinking people. Joe the plumber might save enough to finally purchase the company he works for through decades of hard work and wise financial planning. But angry-lazy people who hate society, work as little as possible, blow every cent they make on immediate pleasures, and spend all their spare time watching TV think Joe the plumber owes them something. He’s doing fine. But the angry-lazy people think that his “wealth” should be shared with everyone who didn’t work hard and didn’t bother saving any money.

There is a term used to describe the society which the lazy angry people envision. It’s called socialism. In a socialist society nobody has anything more than anybody else. The government takes most, or even all of, the money you earn and provides for all your needs. There is nothing to be jealous of because everybody has it the same way. Of course, nobody works hard to get ahead because there is no reward for it. So everybody has a very poor standard of living.

You know what? That suits the socialists just fine. They don’t necessarily want nice things for themselves. They just don’t want anybody else to be able to get nice things for themselves either. They want to drag everyone down to their pathetic level.

This dangerous attitude usually starts at a young age. It begins with – you guessed it – bad parenting. Not being able to say no to your child and refusing to discipline them raises them in a frame of mind which makes them think they were born kings or something, and that the world should be rushing to meet their every whim. This carries over into adulthood and causes problems.

If your child throws temper tantrums when they don’t get their way and you allow this, you are dangerously spoiling your kids. Spoiled kids grow up with issues of entitlement . They don’t understand how fortunate they are just to be healthy and living in a wealthy society. They think they deserve it all. What a misconception that is.

I have news for you: You aren’t entitled to anything by virtue of your existence. Nobody is. You might go to prison tomorrow, or come down with a terminal disease. Everything you have might be gone in an instant. There is no security in this life. If you are angry about other people having it better than you, then you need to seriously get over it. If you want more than you have put your nose to the grindstone and do something about it.

The recent election has resulted in our government being dominated by a political party who holds socialist views. That is an obvious fact, even to somebody like me who isn’t into politics. You can expect a flurry of socialist policies to materialize in the coming years. Those who work hard to get ahead will have an ever-growing percentage of the fruits of their labor confiscated and given to angry-lazy people who think they shouldn’t have to work hard to get the same rewards.

Now don’t get me wrong. Papa Riah is not a defender our current society. In fact I find much of it quite stupid, thus the existence of this blog. However socialism is clearly moving backwards. It’s been tried before and has always failed miserably. It results in violent revolutions and therefore must be instilled by military force upon the residents of it’s own country. But when people with issues of entitlement get control of world governments, as is apparently happening before our eyes, that nightmare becomes a very real threat.

Bad Parents are Ruining the World

By admin

Most of the problems in modern society are the results of bad parenting. This is a fact that only good parents seem to recognize. Bad parents apparently don’t realize that they are bad parents, either that or they just don’t care. Let’s face it, the world is full of irresponsible idiots and those people are having children. Their children are raised by idiots so they themselves are trained to become idiots regardless of how smart they are born. Because children are so highly impressionable, even a very gifted and smart child doesn’t stand a chance if they have idiot parents.

Then they grow up and have kids themselves, and the cycle repeats itself. This results in an exponential growth rate of idiots in society and there isn’t anything the rest of us can do about it. Intelligent people use birth control methods, idiots don’t. Certain ethnic groups live in virtual poverty their entire lives and actually pump out more children motivated by the additional welfare check they will receive.

Another problem is that some children of good parents actually become bad parents. This usually occurs when somebody who was raised with discipline isn’t capable of dispensing it to their own kid. By comparison, few children of bad parents become good parents. So the shift towards the dark side is an ever-growing scourge upon this earth.

You aren’t doing your kids any favors by not disciplining them. If you let them run wild at ages 4 through 8, you can bet that you won’t have any control over them when they are teenagers. Expect phone calls from the police during those years. The best thing you can do for both them and your relationship with them is to be a strict parent now and punish them any time they display insubordination. And no, punishing them doesn’t mean verbally chastising a kid who long ago stopped listening to you.

You see this all the time with new parents. They want to be their child’s friend and are afraid of their kid not loving them. So they let them have their way all the time and spoil them in every other manner as well. Not only does this result in a rotten human being being developed, but it actually creates resentment between child and parent in adult years – exactly the opposite desired affect. If you cannot say no to your child then they run the house, not you. That’s a pretty sad state of affairs. If this describes your household then you are totally blowing it.

When a child raised by an idiot parent becomes an adult they usually are a liability in society, not an asset. Now there are exceptions of course, but you really stack the deck against your child by being a bad parent. I know, I know, you don’t care – and obviously are not even reading this.
