Bad Parents are Ruining the World
Most of the problems in modern society are the results of bad parenting. This is a fact that only good parents seem to recognize. Bad parents apparently don’t realize that they are bad parents, either that or they just don’t care. Let’s face it, the world is full of irresponsible idiots and those people are having children. Their children are raised by idiots so they themselves are trained to become idiots regardless of how smart they are born. Because children are so highly impressionable, even a very gifted and smart child doesn’t stand a chance if they have idiot parents.
Then they grow up and have kids themselves, and the cycle repeats itself. This results in an exponential growth rate of idiots in society and there isn’t anything the rest of us can do about it. Intelligent people use birth control methods, idiots don’t. Certain ethnic groups live in virtual poverty their entire lives and actually pump out more children motivated by the additional welfare check they will receive.
Another problem is that some children of good parents actually become bad parents. This usually occurs when somebody who was raised with discipline isn’t capable of dispensing it to their own kid. By comparison, few children of bad parents become good parents. So the shift towards the dark side is an ever-growing scourge upon this earth.
You aren’t doing your kids any favors by not disciplining them. If you let them run wild at ages 4 through 8, you can bet that you won’t have any control over them when they are teenagers. Expect phone calls from the police during those years. The best thing you can do for both them and your relationship with them is to be a strict parent now and punish them any time they display insubordination. And no, punishing them doesn’t mean verbally chastising a kid who long ago stopped listening to you.
You see this all the time with new parents. They want to be their child’s friend and are afraid of their kid not loving them. So they let them have their way all the time and spoil them in every other manner as well. Not only does this result in a rotten human being being developed, but it actually creates resentment between child and parent in adult years - exactly the opposite desired affect. If you cannot say no to your child then they run the house, not you. That’s a pretty sad state of affairs. If this describes your household then you are totally blowing it.
When a child raised by an idiot parent becomes an adult they usually are a liability in society, not an asset. Now there are exceptions of course, but you really stack the deck against your child by being a bad parent. I know, I know, you don’t care - and obviously are not even reading this.
